What’s the weirdest thing you’ve eaten popcorn out of in Disney World? Was it a Mickey-shaped balloon? Or maybe a train? It could’ve been the Millennium Falcon!

In case you think we’ve completely lost it, you should know that we’re talking about Disney World’s themed popcorn buckets! You can get cute souvenir buckets all around Disney World, which you can then refill throughout your trip for a lower price. There are all kinds of shapes available, from Simba to mouse droids and even the infamous Figment popcorn bucket that took the internet by storm earlier this year. And now we’ve spotted a NEW popcorn bucket in the parks!
Does anyone remember back in 2020 when the Skyliner popcorn bucket debuted in EPCOT? At that point, the new bucket was celebrating the inaugural year of the Skyliner Gondola system, which is Disney’s newest form of transportation that connects EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios to Disney’s Caribbean Beach, Riviera, Pop Century, and Art of Animation Resorts.

Well, now we’ve got a NEW Skyliner popcorn bucket, only this one is celebrating a different event altogether. Take a look at the 50th Anniversary Skyliner Gondola popcorn bucket!

This bucket looks just like a gondola on the Skyliner system, and it has EARidescent decorations for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary.

You’ll see some of the fab 5 Disney characters in the “windows” of this bucket, and they’re decked out in their 50th finest! Mickey and Minnie are on one side and Chip and Dale can be spotted with the 50th Anniversary logo on the front.

The back has Disney World’s logo with the words “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.”

In fact, this bucket looks just like the actual 50th Anniversary gondola that you can find on the Skyliner.

The lanyard strap (so you can wear the bucket around your neck while you’re walking around World Showcase) is blue with more 50th logos as well as little fireworks.

And you can see little details that show this is a Skyliner gondola, like the Skyliner’s logo on the front and the doors on the side.

…and the popcorn stand in the hub area of Hollywood Studios (near The Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant).

It costs $19 (which is $2 more than the previous Skyliner popcorn bucket), and you can get refills throughout your trip for $2.25 each.

We’ll be on the lookout for more locations that have this bucket, so stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest updates.
