VIDEO: Spaceship Earth + ‘Colors of the Wind’ = The BEST Way to End Your Day in EPCOT

Do you remember the incredible makeover Spaceship Earth received for Disney World’s 50th anniversary? Every night, Spaceship Earth is transformed into a “Beacon of Magic,” when it displays bright sequences of colorful lights and patterns.

SO beautiful

For EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts, Spaceship Earth displayed a new, limited-time light show themed to the Muppets’ “Rainbow Connection.” And now that the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival has debuted, we’re getting another NEW light show — and this one is themed after a Disney Princess!

The 2022 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival will last from March 2nd to July 4th, and in the evenings during the festival, Spaceship Earth will display a new sequence set to “Colors of the Wind” from Pocahontas!

Green!

We noticed lots of springtime colors and earth tones to pay homage to both Pocahontas and the theme of the festival — flowers and gardens, of course! The wind also made an appearance.

The wind!

There are many colors in the wind, and we saw shades of blue, green, purple, and more!

  1. It’s a bit dramatic. I equate this song to Autumn. Falling colorful leaves. It would be nice to have something upbeat. I have an old Disney cd with adorable songs about Spring. Tigger even sings one. Even Zipity Do Dah would be energizing. But no, we get Colors Of The Wind. It’s fine.
