NEWS: Sebastian’s Bistro Gets a Reopening Date (and NEW MENU) in Disney World

If you’re looking for places to dine while at your Disney Resort hotel, you’ll find some of the best restaurants on property!

Disney’s Deluxe Resorts like the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian are known for their delicious dining options, but they aren’t the only ones with great food. And Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is about to give them a run for their money when a popular table service restaurant reopens soon!

Sebastian’s Bistro is reopening at Caribbean Beach on June 24th with nightly walk-in availability through July 4th. Beginning on June 10th, guests can make reservations for dates of July 5th and later.

The menu will feature “delicious tastes of the Caribbean” and there’s a new family-style option for dinner!

Dinner is priced at $29 per adult and $17 per child (plus tax and gratuity). Your meal will kick off with the signature house-baked pull-apart rolls served with guava butter and caramelized onion jam.There’s also The Spice Necklace Salad which includes mixed greens and kale with toasted pumpkin seeds, grilled pineapple, orange, spiced candied walnuts, and radish with key lime dressing.

Then, your meal continues with the Taste of the Caribbean platter. This platter includes oven-roasted citrus chicken, slow-cooked mojo pork with mango sambal, and grilled flank steak with mojito relish. For sides, you’ll have cilantro rice and beans, vegetable curry, and grilled broccolini.

Fried coconut shrimp with creamy chipotle dipping sauce can be ordered as an add-on for $8. And to wrap up your dinner, you’ll get to enjoy the house-made coconut-pineapple bread pudding for dessert!

Sebastian’s Bistro

If you’re looking for some plant-based options, that’s available too. The plant-based menu includes house-baked rolls with plant-based guava butter and caramelized onion jam. There’s also the Spice Necklace Salad.

For your main course, there’s a plant-based Taste of the Caribbean platter with the Caribbean Impossible Kabob, Fried Jerk Tofu, and Impossible Sausage served with cilantro rice and red beans, vegetable curry, and grilled broccolini.

And finally, for dessert you can enjoy a plant-based coconut-pineapple bread pudding with plant-based caramel sauce and vanilla rice milk.

  1. We’re staying there for our trip next year. I wonder if this family style menu is just a temporary soft relaunch or will still be there when we go. I’m excited to read the reviews either way! I guess this means it’s no longer going to be overflow for Banana Cabana anymore!

    The other day I worried that the fall relaunch of Club room services could mean a slower than expected return to normal (I don’t get why they’ve essentially ruled them out for all summer.)

    Yeah, now I just think we don’t know as some things are quicker than others. Is it also wrong that when I read enhancements on the menu, I thought about the return of the Dining Plan?

  2. We had a parent date at Sebastian’s in December 2019 – (right before the world ended) – and it was fantastic and a good price point!
