UPDATE: The Disney World Ticketing phone lines are currently down. Learn more here.
It’s already been quite a busy Tuesday morning in the Disney-verse as tickets for this year’s BOO Bash go on sale to guests staying at select Disney World hotels today.

The event will run in the Magic Kingdom from August 10th through October 31st with a hefty price tag of $129 to $199 per person (including children). We already have a first look at some of the entertainment and dining that will be coming to the event. And, it’s clear that the BOO Bash is going to be busy, since our experience booking tickets was more on the chaotic side today!
This morning, tickets were supposed to go on sale for guests at Disney World hotels to buy BOO Bash tickets, with tickets opening up to the general public on June 15th. Earlier this week, we spoke with Cast Members and were told tickets would go on sale at 7AM EST. However, that has not been the case.

In their announcement posts, Disney shared that Disney World hotel guests would need to call for their tickets today by calling (407) 939-4240. However, when we called, we were given an automated message saying all circuits are busy. We tried multiple different numbers, including the Help Desk (407-939-5277), and V.I.Passholder (407-560-7277), and were eventually able to get through to the Help Desk. Once through, we were given a wait time of almost 170 minutes.

We still haven’t been able to get through to buy tickets, and by the looks of social media posts from frustrated fans it looks like we’re certainly not alone! While we were told on the phone that tickets would go on sale started at 7AM EST, that information was never shared publicly on the website, which has led to a lot of confusion from guests looking to purchase tickets.

We have also had trouble getting through on chat, with waits of over 30 minutes just to message with a Cast Member. However, we did notice that Disney has added a new message to their chat stating that “If you are interested in Disney After Hours Boo Bash Tickets and have an active Walt Disney World Resort reservation for the date you are interested in, please call the Disney Reservation Center at 407-939-4240.”

Now, we did have some troubles getting through on that line earlier, but if you’re looking to purchase your tickets we recommend calling this number or trying any of the numbers listed above!
We’ll keep you updated with more details about the BOO Bash tickets soon! Stay tuned with All Ears for the latest Disney entertainment and news!

I guess I was lucky. Called right at 7. Went right into queue for 90+ minutes. Purchased tickets no problem. Received confirmation email.
I tried about 50 times between 9:30 and 10:30 CST. Would say all circuits are busy or just a busy signal. Finally rang through and CM immediately picked up and I got 3 tickets no problem but I was looking for first day party as we will already be there.
My travel agent can’t get thru either
This process is a mess. I called hundreds of times today and never got thru. What is Disney thinking? They are better than this!
Easily called over 100 times and finally got through but the call failed after holding 50 minutes. I called back for about 10 minutes and was placed back in que and was on hold for 1:50 minutes. I spoke with a rep for 5 minutes and was able to book 2 tickets for Halloween night! This was as of 2:30 EST
Our travel agent said the phone lines completely crashed this morning. Every time she tried calling, she couldn’t get through. Hopefully, we’ll be able to get our boo bash tickets!
I got through on the passholder line (thanks for the number!) and waited 1 hour 48 mins on hold. Took less than 5 mins to actually get my tickets for the event once I had someone on the line! Yayyy!
I got through with DVC after trying since 7:00 am. Multiple days sold out including Halloween day and was told there aren’t more tickets.
Completely ridiculous. 4 hours of trying to get through including an hour on hold to be told advance purchase tickets for the date I requested are sold out but they will be available again as general purchase tickets. I’m increasingly seeing a shift in Disney away from guest service. Squeezing every dollar one time does not make for long term success.
Are you allowed to use the pass holder service line for boo bash if you are not an annual pass holder?
I did with no issue. They didn’t ask for any passholder information, just my resort reservation confirmation number.
For those with Club Level reservations, Disney Signature Services can book the tickets. Had to wait 45 minutes, but it worked – received a confirmation and was able to link the tickets to my reservation.
