There’s a lot to do in Disney World and sometimes, making those plans can get complicated.

There are some things that you absolutely need to do in Disney World and some things you can skip.
Read this list and don’t leave Disney World without doing THIS!
1. Eat at least one iconic treat.
Take your pick! You could go for Dole Whip, a colossal cinnamon roll, a Mickey bar, or something else.

2. Conquer the mountains of Disney.
You have to take on Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Space Mountain. Bonus points if you make it on Expedition Everest and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train too.

3. Pose for a funny ride photo.
Ask a Cast Member when to expect that ride picture so you can pose in advance or just capture the raw rollercoaster face you’re inevitably making.

4. Catch a ride on Disney transportation.
This one is pretty hard to avoid but make sure you hop aboard a Disney bus, monorail, or the Skyliner at some point.

5. Search for hidden Mickeys.
Hidden Mickeys are everywhere in Disney World so open your eyes and take a look around.

6. Take a picture with Cinderella Castle.
We’re not sure that it’s possible to walk down Main Street, U.S.A., and not want a pick with Cinderella Castle.

7. See Mickey Mouse.
Whether you find Mickey at a character meal, a Character Cavalcade, or in a traditional meet and greet; you gotta see the Mouse.

8. Stop and take it all in.
Disney can feel like a lot of go, go, go. Sometimes, it pays to stop and take a look at the amazing theming around you.

9. Fight with your family (for fun).
We don’t mean actually fight, but you better hop aboard a points-based attraction like Toy Story Mania or Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin to fight for the highest score.
10. Check for bounceback offers!
Planning tip alert! At the end of your vacation, you might find a pretty awesome offer in your email. This is so that Disney can pull you back soon and so that you can snag some savings. Don’t forget to keep an eye out!

11. Take an iconic wall selfie.
There are lots of cool walls in Disney World and you should really snag a selfie in front of one. Might we suggest the Tomorrowland purple wall or the Animal Kingdom Lion King wall?

12. Eat something Mickey-shaped.
This one is pretty easy too! Odds are, you’re going to come across a bunch of Mickey-shaped treats. Pick the one that looks tastiest and get snacking.

13. Take a Magic Shot.
Photopass photographers can help make some seriously awesome memories, especially with the pictures that have a little extra magic. Ask a Photopass Cast Member where you can find the closest Magic Shot.

14. Sit down and enjoy a really good meal.
This doesn’t have to be expensive! We’ve got lots of restaurant reviews you can take a look at from inexpensive to super fancy so that you can find the best place to eat a nice Disney meal.
