One recent warm Florida afternoon, my wife Vickie and I headed out for Epcot’s World Showcase to savor dinner at one of our favorite Disney restaurants, Teppan Edo. With us was Jim, a friend and neighbor and fellow Disney fan. (Jim and I have enjoyed a number of special Disney days together.) Who could join us for the fun but Tim Foster! Tim is on the left and Jim is on the right in the photo.
I confirmed that a nearby tiny Hidden Mickey was still in place in the Morocco pavilion. It’s in a doorway on the left side of the wall mural in the Character Greeting room at the rear of the pavilion.
After dinner, I met up with a Disney Mom, Beth, and her family in France. We strolled around nearby World Showcase looking for Hidden Mickeys. Her daughters, Nicole and Jessica, found two new Mickey images! In the photo, Beth, Jessica, Nicole and Jim (their dad) are pointing to a Hidden Mickey (spotted by Jessica and Beth) stuck on the wood of a merchandise cabinet just inside the entrance door of The Crown & Crest store in the United Kingdom pavilion. The cabinet is on the right as you enter the store from the outside.
A black classic Mickey is taped to the back of the upper middle wood projection in the photo. You have to put your head inside the cabinet and look up and back to find Mickey. Thanks Jessica and Beth!
Nicole found another Hidden Mickey (a full-body Mickey sticker) in the cabinet at the other side of the entrance door to The Crown & Crest, on the left as you enter the store. Again, you must put your head inside the cabinet and look up and back.
We shook hands with Beth and family and said goodbye, but I’m sure we’ll meet again! Vickie, Jim and I wandered over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Sharon Dale had informed me of a side profile Mickey on a huge display popcorn box near Toy Story Midway Mania. It’s still there, and it’s a great Hidden image! Look behind the “Hey Howdy Hey!” sign, across from the Toy Story Midway Mania attraction.
Near the popcorn box, we met a friendly Cast Member and talked at length about Hidden Mickeys. It’s clear to me that many, if not most, Cast Members enjoy the Hidden Mickey game and, along with me, appreciate these magical images that the Disney Imagineers and artists conjure up for us to find.

What’s behind the Mickey sticker in the second photo in the Crown & Crest shop?
Is it a note?
