Mar 1 - Late 2024Disney Resorts : Walt Disney WorldDisney’s Polynesian Village Resort While the Resort remains open to guests, areas are currently being renovated to include new Disney Vacation Club Villas, restaurants, and even new recreation offerings! The Disney Vacation Club Villas are expected to open in late 2024.
January 24th - Summer 2024Frontierland : Magic KingdomSplash Mountain Splash Mountain will close on January 24th, 2023 to reopen as the new Tiana's Bayou Adventure in summer 2024.
July 15th, 2023 - July 1st, 2024Disney Resorts : Walt Disney WorldDisney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground 350 Cabins at the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds will be completely renovated and adopted into the Disney Vacation Club offerings.
Jan 8th - July 1stSunset Boulevard : Disney's Hollywood StudiosRock 'n' Roller Coaster Disney announced that Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith will be closed for refurbishment until "summer 2024."
January 27th - July 17thFrontierland : Magic KingdomCountry Bear Jamboree Country Bear Jamboree will CLOSE on January 27th, 2024, for the refurbishment. Disney announced that the new show should open Summer 2024.
March 17th - November 3rdBlizzard Beach : Water ParksBlizzard Beach Water Park Closed on March 17, 2024 to begin a seasonal refurbishment; Typhoon Lagoon will be open for guests to experience.
May 2024 - Spring 2025Port Orleans French Quarter : Disney ResortsPort Orleans - French Quarter From May 2024 through Spring 2025, some Guest rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter will be under refurbishment. Guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours. Most Resort hotel amenities will remain available.

June 2nd - June 13thWorld Celebration : EPCOTDVC Lounge Disney has announced that the DVC lounge in EPCOT will be temporarily closed for a scheduled refurbishment. The closure begins on June 2nd, 2024, and will last through July 13th, 2024.

May 2024 - Spring 2025Port Orleans French Quarter : Disney ResortsPort Orleans - French Quarter From May 2024 through Spring 2025, some Guest rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter will be under refurbishment. Guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours. Most Resort hotel amenities will remain available.
Sept 2024 - Sept 2025Contemporary - Bay Lake Tower : Disney ResortsBay Lake Tower at the Contemporary Resort In April of 2024, Disney confirmed that beginning in September, the Bay Lake Tower would begin the first major refurbishment in its history, lasting a full year.
Jan 2025 - May 2025Yacht Club : Disney ResortsYacht Club An announcement on Disney World’s website notifies visitors that some guest rooms at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will be under refurbishment from January through May 2025.
Jan 2025 - May 2025Yacht Club : Disney ResortsStormalong Bay This closure is due to routine maintenance and guests staying at those resorts may hear construction noises during the daytime. During the closure, guests are welcome to swim at the Tidal, Admiral, and Dunes Cove leisure pools.

Jan 6th, 2025 - 2026Frontierland : Magic KingdomBig Thunder Mountain Railroad According to Disney, Big Thunder Mountain will close for refurbishment on January 6th, 2025. The website says the attraction will “reopen with a little bit of new magic in 2026.”
Jan 13th - Summer 2025Tomorrowland : Magic KingdomAstro Orbiter Astro Orbiter at Magic Kingdom Park will close for a multi-month refurbishment starting Jan. 13. The ride is scheduled to reopen in summer 2025.

April 19th - Permanent ClosureBoardWalk : Disney ResortsJellyrolls According to sources close to Jellyrolls, Saturday, April 19th, 2025 will be the last day to visit Jellyrolls in its current location. Earlier this month, they announced that the spot was “making a move” pointing to a new location in the future.
