Tips about Epcot, Food & Beverage and Security

EPCOT - We toured Epcot in July and the best tip I can give is go to Future World around 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. We were very worried since we were going in July. To our amazement when we started our touring, we met ZERO waiting times and at most ten minutes on most of the attractions. The only one that had a line is Test Track. It seems people do Future World in the morning and then go over to the World Showcase. We were pleasantly surprised. - LuckyCharm

ALL PARKS - You will only move at the pace of the slowest person in your group. Accept this, be patient, and do what you can to help that slowest person - under certain circumstances, it might be you! (Jen Kitchen)

EPCOT - It's much easier to walk to World Showcase through the International Gateway than to park at the entrance or even take the bus or monorail from anywhere else. We like it so much, the only resort we stay at is the Boardwalk! - Becky in Delaware

EPCOT - If you want to ensure you dine at an Epcot restaurant for dinner and don't have an Advance Dining Reservation, make sure to make one very early in the day. The popular restaurants fill up early.

EPCOT - Watch IllumiNations after a rain. For some reason, everybody seems to leave the parks if a little rain appears, especially late in the day. If you just stick it out, you can secure a great spot to watch Illuminations with no waiting required. And, after Illuminations ends, even it's not been raining, as everyone scurries to the exits, wait for the crowds to die down, and then take a leisurely stroll around the lagoon. Enjoy the music and the lights, you'll have a nice quiet time with minimal people, and a chance to look at the skies above. The Disney buses or your car will be there whenever you get out. - Bill
