Getting to WDW: Goodbye Magical Express, Hello Amtrak’s Auto Train

Earlier this year, when Disney discontinued its Magical Express service and the price of renting a car remained exorbitant, we decided to revisit Amtrak's Auto Train as a viable option to get to and from Florida. We gave our experience mixed reviews.

Disney’s Vero Beach Resort Embraces the Beach Lifestyle While Embodying a True Disney Experience

In 1993, when Disney Vacation Club announced plans to build a time-share resort in Vero Beach, Florida, about 100 miles southeast of the Walt Disney World resort, the question on many people’s minds was: Why would Disney build a resort so far from its central Florida theme parks? After spending a few days at the idyllic DVC property just steps from the Atlantic Ocean, it became obvious why that decision was made.

Returning To The High Seas Aboard the Disney Fantasy

On Saturday, September 25th, we left the cozy confines of the Old Key West Resort on Walt Disney World property, bound for Port Canaveral and a four-night cruise aboard the Disney Fantasy. Once onboard, we found that safety protocols abounded.
