California Native Returns Home for Super Heroes Half Marathon Victory at Disneyland Resort
Posted onNick Arciniaga, who grew up in Fountain Valley, Calif., but now lives in Arizona, won the Super Heroes Half Marathon on Sunday for his fourth runDisney half marathon victory at Disneyland Resort. Wearing a full-length Spiderman costume as he ran, Arciniaga blasted through the 13.1- mile course in record time: 1:09:28, nearly two minutes quicker than the race record (1:11:09). Lindsey Carter of Huntington Beach, Calif., was the first female finisher, crossing the line in 1:25:01.

Mickey’s Jingle Jungle 5K
Posted onThis newly-themed runDisney event was one of the events during the Wine and Dine Race Weekend. More and more runDisney is packaging running events with an opportunity for everyone in the family to run. This "family fun 5K" is definitely for everyone, with everyone from toddlers in strollers, to young children, to teens and preteens, to new adult runners, to very experienced teen and adult runners. Everyone was there!
