Main Street is such an awestruck beginning of the park because you see the castle up close and all the stores and the smell of the bakery and the balloons. It's very classic Disney.
Pros:
Amazing sites, sounds and smellsCons:
Very crowdedReviewed by BeccaRutan Review Date: 07/15/2021

Main Street USA in all its glory! What could be the cons of such an iconic piece of WDW

This is the first thing you see when walking into the park, and it is the most magical part of walking into the Magic Kingdom. You scan your magic band and walk through the entrance of the park underneath the railroad and you're greeted by the beautiful theming on Main Street that slowly draws your eyes to the castle. For most people, this is the part of the park that they will remember, and this is also the part of the park that houses the Starbucks as well as TONS of merchandise.
Pros:
Lots of shopping, and great theming.Cons:
Can get very busy in the middle of the day, and it can be hard to navigate and maneuver through the crowds because of how popular of a photo spot it is. No rides, and the entertainment is lacking in this area since the parks have reopened (no meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie and no street-mosphere performances).Reviewed by PastryPrincess Review Date: 07/14/2021

Best “I’m at Disney moment” is when you walk down Main Street. The confectionery, the shops, the views of Cinderella’s Castle? Perfection. Just grab a Mickey Bar and sit on the grass and you’re there.
Pros:
Beautiful views, wonderful shops, plaza ice cream!Cons:
Usually very crowdedReviewed by girlwiththestarwarspurse Review Date: 07/14/2021

Main Street, U.S.A. is the gateway to your Walt Disney World vacation. If you can enter Main Street for the first time without tearing up...tell me how you do it! I get teary eyed every time I walk down Main Street for the first time on my trip. Seeing characters at the train station, in Town Square Theater (when meet and greets return), or in parades and cavalcades, Main Street is the place to be for those magical experiences. Main Street has the best shopping at Disney World, outside of Disney Springs. Hearing the music that plays along Main Street, smelling treats in the Confectionery, and watching people enter Disney World for the first time - it's where you truly feel that Walt Disney World is the most magical place on earth.
Pros:
character sightings atmosphereCons:
no rides (but that's ok!)Reviewed by Kathleen5 Review Date: 07/14/2021

There is no better feeling than walking down Main Street to the music and smells of the park. Nighttime feels even more magical.
Pros:
Christmas and Fall decorations on Main StreetCons:
Very crowded area as it is the only walkway from the main entrance of the park.Reviewed by Shandilyn12 Review Date: 07/14/2021

Main Street USA is such a classic Disney spot to take pictures in front of the castle and with the theming it's rightfully so! Closely aligned with Disneyland in California, this land gives a special nod to look like Walt's hometown city Marceline, MO.
Pros:
Relaxed theming, shops to buy merchandise, & great place to take pictures!Cons:
Can get a bit congested in the mornings at rope drop, parades can interfere with traffic down Main Street, & a lot of hustle and bustle.Reviewed by iluvgolf18 Review Date: 07/14/2021

Main Street is the first land you see when you enter the park, and the last land you see when you leave for the night. It is a great place to shop and eat. And of course the iconic views of the castle all the way down Main Street.

Main Street USA transports you into that small town covered in shops, food, barber shop, fire station, bakery, and trolleys of characters and the Dapper Dans beautiful harmonies. And then straight ahead you transition into the sight of fantasy, the castle! Main Street USA is great for people watching, to grab your first coffee if the day, grab a snack, sit and watch a parade/Calvacade go by. Plenty of theming and hidden fun facts within. Take a peek at the names of the businesses in the windows! I typically wait until the of the day to shop!
