Probably my least favorite land, but mostly just because the theming doesn't interest me as much as the others. Still would recommend visiting this land though. Especially if you're a western enthusiast, you will LOVE this land! Best parts of Frontierland for me are Splash Mountain and Big Thunder. Food is good, but for me personally I have to be in the mood for TexMex - which I rarely am, especially at a theme park. Great spot to catch the parade though!

Pros:

Great spot to watch parade and contains iconic must do attractions - Splash & Big Thunder must do!

Cons:

Not a huge fan of the theming

Such a well themed area with some good dinning options (relative to Magic Kingdom standards). There are great attractions in this area as well with Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain. I really hope somehow they end up keeping Splash Mountain, because of the fact that it fits in much more with the Frontierland vibe than Tiana and New Orleans ever will.

Pros:

Great rides. Good food. Great theming.

Cons:

Don't you dare get rid of Splash Mountain.

The detailed theming is so fun. Splash mountain is a must and it's always fun to stop in the shops here. This is also a fun place to grab a snack and watch the parades (when they're going). There is an opportunity here for a really fun dining experience that Disney hasn't tapped into.

Pros:

Fun theming and fun entertainment

Cons:

Needs better food options

Three words: BIG THUNDER MOUNTAIN! Frontierland has my favorite ride in all of WDW and 2 of 3 magic kingdom classic mountains! This land has my favorite spot to watch the parade or calvacades. Characters usually float around this land more often than other lands like Chip and Dale or the Country Bears!

Pros:

Great theming Fun thrill rides Big Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain Great land to spot characters Pecos Bill's is a great quick services location Country Bear Jamboree provides a great entertaining way to get out of the Florida heat.

Cons:

None!

Frontierland is very old country western. Big Thunder Mountain and Pecos Bill are about the only redeeming factors personally. Splash Mountain is fine it's a classic.

Pros:

Good rides

Cons:

Very outdated

Definitely one of my favorite Magic Kingdom lands, as it is home to good food (Pecos Bill), and great rides (Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad). Although Frontierland is not the most exciting land ever theme-wise, it is a thrill-seeker's paradise, as it is home to two of the Magic Kingdom mountains (and personally my two favorite mountains). The parades and cavalcades also pass straight through this land, and the porches surrounding Pecos Bill and the Country Bear Jamboree are great places to watch the entertainment in the shade.

Pros:

Pretty decent food for Magic Kingdom. Two of the most popular rides in Magic Kingdom are located here. Great spot to watch entertainment, and has an indoor show (with great AC!).

Cons:

Not a great land to be in when it's raining, as both rides in this land shut down. The two rides here may not be for the whole family, as they are known to be some of the more thrilling rides in the Magic Kingdom. Not much shade on hot days other than the shade from the buildings and porches.

Frontierland has my favorite Magic Kingdom coaster: Big Thunder Mountain, so it automatically gets points for that. Splash Mountain is the perfect mid-day ride for those wanting to cool off and Country Bear Jamboree is the place to cool off WITHOUT getting wet. If you need a rest break in MK without leaving the park, I highly suggest a trip around the Rivers of America on the Liberty Belle, or a visit to Tom Sawyer's Island. TSI is truly a hidden gem in MK and is usually uncrowded. It's a great place to let kids explore while the adults find a shady spot to sit.

Pros:

thrilling rides good places for resting/cooling off

Cons:

not many dining options

I give it an 8/10 due to Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain, 2 of the best rides in the park. My kids used to love running around Tom Sawyer Island also. Pecos Bill is a good lunch spot. Not a big fan of the theme but it is definitely one of the better lands for attractions.

Pros:

Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain

Cons:

Theme

Frontierland is a great land with a lot of theming inspired to look like the Wild West. With Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain this really ups the game as one of my favorite lands in Magic Kingdom!

Pros:

More restaurants or quick service options available, top attractions in this land, & a nice place to relax if you need to sit.

Cons:

Can get busy during the morning to mid-afternoon & long lines to get food.
