Love this ride! Nothing takes me back to childhood quite like sailing across the sky on a bike with ET in the basket. The ride is still charming and fun no matter how old it is.

Pros:

Love it when ET says your name at the end. My inner child skwees!

Cons:

The planet of ETs is...interesting

I absolutely love this ride, yes it’s old but it’s classic and that’s what makes it amazing.

Pros:

It is one of the only classic dark rides left in Universal Studios and is a family friendly ride.

Cons:

It is old and definitely not as technically advanced as many of the other rides.

This is a total classic. If you love E.T. or are even in the mood for something a little more laid back, this is the ride for you. For guests who aren't E.T. fans, they will have no idea what's happening, but its fun regardless of the story. Tip: Ask for the middle seat in the front row, there is a special surprise in the bicycle basket!

Pros:

Cute ride vehicle; everyone gets their own bicycle. Also, the queue is really immersive and neat.

Cons:

Some of the animatronics might scare younger guests, they can be a little creepy!

I like E.T. and I like "dark rides," but this is painfully dated at points. And there's a height requirement that means babies (and the adults watching them) can't go on (like Cat in the Hat), which seems unfortunate when there are so few rides for families. That said, parts are still really great, and I think it's worth riding.

Pros:

first half of the ride works better than the second half; "bike" seats are fun

Cons:

no babies allowed

I love this ride so much! It’s a nice slow ride however it is a little outdated and could use an update.

Pros:

Kid friendly, slow, relaxing

Cons:

Animatronics are a little out dated so they may be scary to younger kids
