It was one of the best experiences of my life. I only went on once but those 4 minutes were great. I went with my parents, but only my dad went on. My mom (who is a bit on the wider side) couldn’t get on because they couldn’t lock it in. Another person outside had the same problem. I hope in the future they can make it more ajustable for people with certain body types.
Pros:
It’s beautiful and I think it is different every time. I can see why the lines are usually 3 hours.Cons:

Such a great ride! The immersive experience leaves you awed by the art and 3d effect put into it as it feels as you are actually in the seat. 10/10 Best ride in the WHOLE world this is a must-do. The only thing bad is the wait time cause it can get HIGH so come during the morning. Still, 100% worth it... no 1000% worth it.

It was OK...it is just a big screen going no where. It is NOT a coastar or spectacular ride in anyway. The 3D effects are fine - I assume you could get from any 3D visor they sell at Best Buy.
Here us the break down:
30 min que - 5/10

We tried paying for fast passes and did ....what a rip off mess -- you can't get in their system....every ride must be booked and timed on line -- the system then randomly cancels your reservations for unknown reasons. Disney has become a total RIP OFF - they make you mad, angry and very frustrated. Steal all your money...and make you rip roaring angry and frustrated. And this is supposed to be a holiday ??

I was really excited to ride this for the first time but actually I was disappointed. My main problem was that I was very restricted. I think the bar came to close, and it hurt my back. I'm a small person by the way. It was cool that you could feel the banshee breathing. The 3d effect did make me feel a bit nauseous. My family weren't keen on it either and we got up early to rope drop this ride.

ITS TOOO AMAZING TO MAKE ME REVIEW IT!! I have ridden it 5 times, and its my favorite ride in all of DAK and or DW. Its so amazing, but the queue man. I always put this first on my list.

This ride brings thrills and immersive experience to life as you hop aboard an Ikran or Banshee and able to fly across the majestic nature of Pandora. Despite this ride having outrageously long waits, it's worth it. From the preshow to getting water splashed in your face to make this 3D experience even more wonderful, this ride is a must visit in Animal Kingdom. The only bad thing about this ride is having to get off it.

Okay, so I know that this is a hot take. And I don't think what I'm about to say applies to most people getting on this ride. But I got completely overwhelmed to the point of meltdown. It barely qualifies as a simulation ride because of the extreme range of movement its does. I'm not a thrill ride person and I have sensory issues and this was honestly worse than some more \"thrilling rides\" FOR Me. Technically its beautiful and I don't wanna diss on it. But if you get sensory overwhelm approach with caution. Its loud, with overstimulating graphics, 4d effects smells.

Imagery was great but it made me super sick. I don’t get all the hype honestly. My entire family didn’t enjoy this one. My husband was very uncomfortable in the seat and felt very restricted. My son was overwhelmed and panicky. For us it wasn’t worth the wait at all and we would more than likely wouldn’t ride this one again even with no wait

Avatar flight of passage is AWESOME I love it. It’s this really cool simulation ride, where you flight a banshee in pandora. It’s really cool and fun and it’s a great ride for the little ones, I definitely recommend you to ride it. Although the rides tend to get long, so I highly recommend you get a fastpass.
