People typically think of fantasy land for rides for families with young kids, but Adventureland is another great option. Plus there’s the classic Disney attractions- Pirates and the Tiki room. I love the nostalgia of the attractions that had Walt’s hand in it. And of course, there’s Dole Whip!

Adventureland represents many essential Walt Disney World favorites. With the Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean, you'll get to experience some classic Disney rides. Some could argue that the mismatch of a jungle environment with an Arabian bazaar is, well, bizarre, but Adventureland is all about adventure. Plus, you can get some iconic Disney snacks here: the Dole Whip and Citrus Swirl. Plus there's the underrated Jungle Navigation Co. Skipper Canteen, arguably the best table service in Magic Kingdom. We usually begin our Magic Kingdom days in Adventureland. My favorite Adventureland memory is seeing my 3 year old daughter chosen for Capt Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial on our first trip to Disney World.

Love the theming of the area. Pirates and Jungle Cruise are here which are great attractions. I feel that the area lacks thrill rides which would fit in nicely in Adventureland.
Pros:
Pirates, Jungle CruiseCons:

Adventureland is by far my favorite land to stroll through when I want a quick dole whip or popcorn as a snack then hop on Pirates of the Caribbean! I always start out my day here in this land as it sets the magical tone for the day.
Pros:
Great snacks, classic rides including Pirates & Jungle Cruise, and wonderful land to take a short cut through to get to other lands around MK.Cons:
Long lines at snack kiosks so must mobile order & wait times increase for popular rides throughout the day.Reviewed by EmmaLulu Review Date: 07/14/2021

It is a wonderful land! The best quick service option is there (pecos bill), two wonderful air conditioned shows (tiki room and jamboree), one of the best rides (pirates), and one of the most enjoyable rides (jungle cruise).
Pros:
Quick service food and rides/attractionsCons:

While Adventureland is not the most thrilling land in Magic Kingdom, it does have one of my favorite rides in it, Pirates of the Caribbean. It also has the most iconic snack in all of Disney IMO, the Dole Whip. For those two reasons, it is definitely worth spending some time in Adventureland on your day in the Magic Kingdom!
Pros:
Pirates of the Caribbean Dole WhipCons:

Adventureland to me represents original Disney context: a piece of the intended vision. The classics! Pirates, Jungle Cruise, and Tiki Room are Disney staples. Not a lot to offer for the thrill seeker, but these attractions are family inclusive that everyone can enjoy together! Can’t go wrong with a Dole Whip either. I am open minded and pleased to see updates to Jungle Cruise taking place without changing the integrity of the ride! This land is visually appealing!
Pros:
Family Inclusive, Theming, Quintessential DisneyCons:
Outdated, No Thrill RidesReviewed by RachelA Review Date: 07/14/2021

Adventureland has possibly the best theming of all the MK. The vibes are different from every other land in all of WDW which makes it a unique place to visit. The only reason I docked it points was for the sub-par selection of rides.
