We came here not expecting much for food, just a good homecooked meal, but thought the experienced looked like fun! Not only was our server so much fun and the decor was hilarious, but we both left saying we'd come back every time. We got the pb&j milkshake (lives up to the hype) and the sampler. We both agreed we have never had better mashed potatoes and pot roast in our lives. SO GOOD!

We went here after a long day in Hollywood Studios. Our waiter was great, very sassy. He had my niece set the table and chastised those that could not finish their adult beverages. He forgot my coke and when I pointed it out to him he brought me 4 cokes! The food was outstanding. We all ordered the fried chicken and it is a HUGE serving, seriously...like 5 or 6 pieces of chicken plus two sides, easily shareable. The fried chicken is so delicious. We enjoyed the atmosphere as well, feels like a small place with the seating and the tvs. Will definitely go back.
Pros:
Excellent food and a good time interacting with the wait staff. Cool atmosphere as well.Cons:
If you aren't into sassy waiters or getting picked on this might not be for you. It is definitely a little pricey.Reviewed by Bebopulation Review Date: 01/29/2022

The atmosphere is really the story here. A really cool location that does feel like you're in an older relative's house. Our server was very fun, but because we were there in 2021, we didn't get the full experience, which is a bummer. I'm personally not a fan of the menu ... and all the food was fine, but unmemorable. Glad we did it, but I don't need to go again.
Pros:
A very unique experience you won't find anywhere else - worth doing once.Cons:
Food is fairly mediocre and boringReviewed by DreamingofaDisneyVacay247 Review Date: 01/24/2022

It was fine. My husband and I shared a meal of fried chicken, meat loaf, pot roast, potatoes, and green beans. Nothing tasted that amazing, it was good, but not exciting. The atmosphere was comfortable and it was so nice to sit in the air conditioning. The Diet Coke was delicious. My dad and my sons are picky eaters and they really enjoyed the simplicity of it. In a word, it was just, meh...
Pros:
Easy to find location, reliable choices for picky eaters. Very cute atmosphere!Cons:
The food is pretty pricey for something that is easily made at home.Reviewed by JoeR73 Review Date: 01/13/2022

As good as the food was, and it was really good, it was overshadowed by our hilarious waitress who was half my age and scolding me like a school teacher. While we were waiting for our food, she told us to write 20 Disney movie titles with a one word name on a napkin. When she came back to see how many movies we came up with, she lost it when she saw "Shrek" on the list.
Pros:
Great food, TERRIFIC service, a lot of laughsCons:
Being extremely picky because I really can't think of a con, if they could improve anything maybe add dividers so the I don't see the other diners and it feels more like you're in a kitchen.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 01/11/2022

had a great server-her name tag said Ryan but I think she said it was Amanda? She was in character and she made it fun. We split a chicken dinner so I could get dessert. It was all very good.

Great food, amazing service, well priced, fun atmosphere. We loved our experience here! My wife and I both got the sampler with pot roast, meatloaf, fried chicken, and sides. It was a good amount of food for the price! We also shared a slice of chocolate peanut butter cake, which was huge! and delicious! We honestly can't wait to go back again on our next trip!

When my husband and I visited Hollywood studios this past October, our original plan was to not get a reservation and just snack around the park. About halfway through our day, due to the good experiences we had at the other parks on our trip, we decided to end up getting a reservation. While reservations for 50s prime time are hard to come by, even 60 days out, we got very lucky and were able to get on the walk up list. Even better, after we joined the walk up list, we had about an hour to kill, so we were able to finish up our time in Galaxy’s edge, and leisurely make our way to the restaurant. So that was wonderful in and of itself.
Now for the ‘beef’ (pun intended) of the review, first off - Cousin Luis did absolutely right by us. He was funny, had some great jokes, and we truly felt like we were family! If you go, and he is your server, you are going to be treated right! He also had some great recommendations, and overall was a 10/10 server.
For drinks, I ordered the Cherry sprite, and my hubs ordered a root beer. Both were delicious, and Luis made sure we didn’t go thirsty while we waited for our food, which was also top-of-the-line divine. We ordered the Onion Rings as an appetizer, they were crispy, delicious, and the onions inside the batter were actually tasty!
Then the main course, husband got Fried Chicken, and I originally got the pot roast. After we had ordered, my stomach politely reminded me that eating a heavy pot roast was probably a bad idea, so I asked Luis to change my order to the Caesar salad with Salmon. He teased me about it, but still (while being very busy) managed to change my order quickly and brought it out at the same time as my husbands!
I did sneak some of the fried chicken of hubs plate, but almost got my hand bitten. The fried chicken was better than any I have ever tasted, that’s for sure. My salad was also amazing! The salmon was perfectly seasoned, there was a good amount of dressing, and overall was absolutely wonderful. I absolutely will come eat here again when we come back!
Pros:
Great food, cousins make you feel at home, Cherry sprite is fantastic, decor is LEGENDARY.Cons:

This is such a fun place! My family always loves coming here for a good meal and a laugh. I love the 1950's theming. Ask to sit at one of the tables with the television set, it makes the experience much more enjoyable, I only wish they had more of those. The servers make this experience so much fun - if you aren't practicing 1950's table etiquette, they will call you out and it is hilarious! If you don't have a sense or humor, this place isn't for you. As for the food, every dessert we had was delicious and entrees were hit or miss. Personally, I loved the pot roast, by far my favorite entree on the menu. The fried chicken is good, by no means the best I ever had, but it is good. I found the meatloaf to be inedible.
