February 17th, 2023 - Tiana’s Palace Restaurant will replace this locationNew Orleans Square : Disneyland ParkFrench Market This Disneyland restaurant closed permanently on February 17th, 2023, in order to make way for the NEW Tiana’s Palace restaurant. The new spot will feature food inspired by Disney’s The Princess and the Frog.
February 17th, 2023 - TBANew Orleans Square : Disneyland ParkMint Julep Bar The Mint Julep Bar is also closed as Disneyland works on Tiana’s Palace, but it’s going to reopen as part of the new restaurant.
April 2023 - September 5thNew Orleans Square : Disneyland ParkFantasmic! During a spring performance of Fantasmic! in Disneyland, the Maleficent dragon (who is supposed to breathe fire during the show) caught on fire. After the incident, the show was suspended indefinitely and Disney released a statement that it would temporarily suspend fire effects at select shows GLOBALLY “out of an abundance of caution.”
