Something BIZARRE Is Going on With This Hotel Activity in Disney World

If you’re looking for something to do on your rest day during your Disney World trip, there are SO many hotel activities you may not know about.

Fort Wilderness Resort

From arts and crafts to scavenger hunts to carriage rides, Disney World Resorts have a surprising number of ways to keep you entertained during your visit. But recently, we’ve noticed that there’s something weird going on with one particular resort activity.

For a few months now, horseback riding has been temporarily unavailable at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort due to construction. The Disney World website notes that it will continue to be unavailable through November, but we’ve noticed something strange.

Even though the webpage says it’ll be closed through November, there are hours listed for horseback riding starting on November 9th. Up until that day, the calendar says “no times available.”

Ready to ride

But when we go to search for available reservations, there are none available until November 19th. Not even any open from November 9th-18th! How weird is that?

So what’s really going on here? Well, it looks like we may have to wait and see. It’s possible that the November 9th date will be a soft reopening with walk-ups only, and then reservations are allowed starting November 19th. Or, it could all just be a glitch on the website. We’ll make sure to keep an eye on things and let you know!
