The Hidden Experience In Disney Springs You’re Walking Right Past

Some of our favorite memories as a kid took place at Build-A-Bear Workshop, where we were able to be creative and use our imaginations before taking home a new stuffed friend!

Today’s stop is VVERY similar to Build-A-Bear!

While there isn’t a Build-A-Bear Workshop at Disney World, there is something super similar — and it takes us to Disney Springs! And to prehistoric times. Let’s go!

Build-A-Dino is owned and operated by Build-A-Bear and is located at T-Rex in Disney Springs. Here, you can go through the exact same process as Build-A-Bear. Come with us while we build a new dino friend!

Build-A-Dino

First, you’ll start by picking out a dinosaur friend to stuff. There are plenty to choose from.

All the options!

Once you choose your new friend, you can head over to the stuffer and a Build-A-Dino employee will help you stuff your friend, which is complete with the heart ceremony, just like at Build-A-Bear. You’ll have the opportunity to add customizations like scents, sounds, and even a heartbeat.

Once your new friend is stuffed, you can pick out some clothes and name them!

Naming them is the hardest part for us!

Our friend was a pink dino that we named AJ, after our friend at Disney Food Blog!

Meet AJ!

And yes, we even got the birth certificate to commemorate the experience.

Birth certificate

This is a great family-friendly activity that doesn’t even require a park ticket, which is a big bonus. We’ll continue to keep you updated with more fun tips, tricks, and advice when it comes to the Disney Parks. Make sure to follow along for more!
