It’s almost time for one of Disney World’s most extravagant dining experiences to return after a long, long hiatus.

Monsieur Paul is reopening on October 18th, and reservations are open now! The dining experience will be slightly different according to Disney, and now we’ve got our first look at the new menu. Let’s see what we can expect from this fine dining spot when it finally opens back up!
Reservations are open now for Monsieur Paul, a signature dining experience located in the France Pavilion at EPCOT. But, if you were waiting to book your table until you caught a glimpse at the new menu, it’s your lucky day — it looks like the Monsieur Paul menu has been updated on the Disney World website.

The experience will be slightly different, as the menu has changed. The a la carte menu items are gone, and the Gastronomic Meal of the French has taken its place — for $195 per person. So, what will be served on the prix fixe menu?

The Gastronomic Meal of the French now includes:
- Starter Cocktail — glass of Champagne with a cheese puff gougère
- Choice of one Hors d’oeuvers — Maine Lobster salad with passion fruit vinaigrette; Escargot cassolette with watercress and potato emulsion; Saffron mussels soup
- Choice of Fish Course — Sea bass in puff pastry, sauce Choron, Monsieur Paul style (serves two or more); Snapper in potato scales, Thyme sauce; Seared scallops served with maple pumpkin velouté
- Choice of Meat Course — Rack of lamb roasted in a cocotte, curly green cabbage stuffed with mushrooms and chestnuts, fresh thyme juices; Chicken fricassee with morels, rice pilaf with vegetables and black truffles; Center cut beef tenderloins grilled, porcini fricassee, mashed potatoes mousseline Bordelaise sauce
- Cheese — imported cheeses plate
- Choice of Dessert — Chocolate almond cake, chocolate cream, hazelnut biscuit, chocolate ice cream, warm chocolate Cognac sauce; Thin apple tart with almond cream; Meringue, vanilla ice cream, raspberry sorbet, vanilla Chantilly, raspberry coulis

Sounds like quite the gastronomic experience — so head on over to the Disney World website or open up your My Disney Experience app to make reservations if you can’t wait for the return on Monsieur Paul, and make sure you read up on the dress code and age requirements (only guests ages 10 and up are permitted!).

And there goes another WDW restaurant down the drain! 🙁
Seriously? $195.00 per person. Pricing doesn’t even seem real anymore – like Monopoly money.
I hade reservations for this restaurant before i saw the pricing. This is more than twice the price of eating at the Cali Grill right now. What is the justification for this menu price? any thoughts would be appreciated.
