UPDATE on ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 Release Timeline for Disney+

It’s happening, folks. It’s almost time for The Mandalorian season 3!

Recently ranked as the best original series on Disney+, The Mandalorian tells the story of, well, the Mandalorian and his pal Grogu (also known as Baby Yoda). Last season ended quite epically and if you’re like us, you’ve been waiting impatiently for more news about season 3. Now we have an update and we can barely contain the excitement!

Last year we learned that The Mandalorian season 3 was scheduled to start shooting on April 5th, 2021, but we weren’t sure when the series would be released on Disney+. Previous stories had indicated that the third season of the hit show The Mandalorian would debut in either late 2022 or early 2023.

Today, at Star Wars Celebration, Star Wars announced that season 3 will be streaming on Disney+ in February 2023!

While February 2023 is still a little ways away, you can catch The Mandalorian seasons 1 and 2 on Disney+ in the meantime, as well as the spin-off series The Book of Boba Fett. And watch out for more details about the other spin-off series, Ahsoka, coming soon!

Also, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Bryce Dallas Howard directs an episode this season of The Mandalorian! She has directed episodes of the show in the past and more recently directed an episode of The Book of Boba Fett.
