A lot has changed in The Walt Disney Company over the past two years.

Back in 2019, Bob Iger announced that he would be retiring from the company in 2021, and in 2020 he stepped down as CEO with Bob Chapek replacing him. And, while his time as the Chairman of the Board is coming to a close, one executive is predicting that this won’t be the last time we see Iger leading Disney.
CNBC recently had 10 different media executives predict what significant industry events could happen in 2022. And, one anonymous executive is predicting that Bob Iger will return to the Walt Disney Company in 2022 saying that there are “already internal wagers at Disney.”

Iger has been known to continue his relationship with the company, having planned to retire in 2015, 2016, and 2018, but CNBC reports that it is “unclear if Iger wants to return.”

Iger has reportedly already begun working on his second book and could be purchasing an NBA Team soon. However, this media executive believes that the drop in Disney shares and “turf tensions between executives” could result in a leadership change in 2022.

No such plans have been shared by The Walt Disney Company, but we’ll continue to bring you all the latest updates so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars!

I rather have someone with the Disney name/bloodline be the CEO and get Disney back on track. What a hit mess it has become. Really wish Disney family could take back over
Hopefully not EGor, he started the elitist park mentality. Go grab the Universal CEO
Hey why not Eisner?
