PHOTOS: Disney World’s New Treat Is an Absolute CLASSIC…With a Twist!

We’re having quite a wild time celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Disney World at Animal Kingdom today!

We’ve checked out the new show Disney KiteTails, we’ve spotted all the Disney Fab 50 golden statues, and now we’re tasting our way through the park’s delicious snack offerings. Up next on our list is a twist on a classic Disney World treat!

Over at Drinkwallah in Animal Kingdom, you can currently grab the Hand-dipped 50th Celebration Mickey Premium Bar!

According to Disney’s description, it’s the “classic Nestlé Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar dipped in blue raspberry-flavored coating with celebration sprinkles and a little bit of pixie dust.” Doesn’t that sound like fun? We saw the station where Cast Members are dipping and decorating the Mickey bars.

We stopped by to pick one up for $6.69 and show you what it looks like. It’s so pretty and festive!

The treat is pretty, but the flavor combination of blue raspberry and chocolate was definitely interesting!

We weren’t expecting the sharpness from the blue raspberry, but chocolate was still the dominant flavor. So be prepared for a rather unusual combination when you take a bite!
