Could There Be a Brand New Disney Villains Event Coming SOON?

Halloweentime is when Disney Villains truly get their chance to shine.

From Oogie Boogie Bash in Disneyland to Disney After Hours BOO Bash in Disney World, you’re sure to see at least one villain making their way throughout the park during the season. But, it looks like you may not have to head to Disney World to catch some of your favorite villains this year!

Disney has added a new job posting to their casting site looking for actors to perform as Disney Villains for an upcoming “special event” in “Central Florida” on October 16th through October 22nd.

They are looking to cast a total of 14 different iconic villain roles including:

Anastasia
Captain Hook
Cruella
Dr. Facilier
Drizella
Gaston
Hades
Jafar
Kronk
Lady Tremaine
Maleficient
Queen of Hearts
The Evil Queen
Yzma

The listing also notes that Disney may be willing to provide travel for certain roles and to apply you must create an audition profile with a resume, eye color, accurate height, and headshot, upload a recorded audition, and then check in on the site.

So, what could this be? Disney did host a ticketed Villains After Hours event in 2020 in Magic Kingdom, but with BOO Bash already scheduled for 2021, we may be in for a brand new event in honor of Disney World’s 50th anniversary. We’ll just have to wait and see!
