You Don’t Need a Park Ticket to Do the NEW Halloween Scavenger Hunt at Disneyland!

We’ve been enjoying all kinds of Halloween fun in Disneyland recently, between new merchandise, boo-tiful decorations, and spooky character sightings.

Halloween Decorations in Disney’s California Adventure

Disney just released more information about a NEW Halloween experience coming to the park — Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit. We first heard about this festive hunt last month, when Disneyland released a lot of their Halloween announcements. Now we have more details about what it is and how you can join in the festive fun!

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit will take place in Downtown Disney. Guests will hunt for decorative pumpkins around the district, looking for the ones with Disney character themes.

You can enter the pumpkin hunt by buying a game board and stickers from select merchandise locations. Some of the participating locations include World of Disney, Disney’s Pin Traders, Disney Home, The Disney Dress Shop, and WonderGround Gallery.

Once you have your board, you’ll track down the hidden pumpkins with Disney Character themes and place the corresponding sticker on your game board. You can return your game board (even if you didn’t finish) to World of Disney or Disney’s Pin Traders to get a spooky surprise — one of these four Halloween-themed mugs!

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit will take place from September 9th, 2021 to October 31st, but the game board is valid for redemption through November 7th (or while supplies last).
