You Probably Didn’t Think You’d Have to Wait For THIS in Disney World!

It has been a busy week at Walt Disney World!

Splash Mountain crowds over spring break

Disney Park Passes have been booked up for the week, and with the weather warming up, many guests are turning to the pools for an afternoon break. Today, we saw that Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park had reached capacity and it seems that even Disney Resort hotel pools are filling up!

On our way over to Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, we noticed that there was quite a long line to get into the popular Stormalong Bay. Normally, Disney uses a waitlist when the pool becomes a bit full, but today that was not available.

Splashing awaits!

Instead, guests had to let the Cast Member at the gate know how many people were in their party. If there was space for that number in the pool area, then the Cast Member would let guests in, otherwise guests collected in a line near the entrance and waited for others to leave so they could enter.

Stormalong Bay at the Yacht and Beach Club

Both Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and Disney’s Beach Club Resort share this pool and you must be staying at the hotels in order to access it. We will continue to keep an eye out for updates on capacity in and around the Disney World parks so stay tuned for the latest!
