EPCOT’s had its fair share of ride changes over the past few months!
We’ve seen animatronic malfunctions multiple times on Frozen Ever After, and have also experienced the entire saga of plant Donals over on Gran Fiesta Tour. Then today, on our visit to the Norway Pavilion, we noticed that something was MISSING from Frozen Ever After!
One of the best parts of the Frozen Ever After queue is when you go inside Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post & Sauna. Typically, you’ll get greeted by Oaken himself when you walk through, but today he was gone!
We asked a nearby Cast Member why he was gone, and were told that his presence was too distracting for guests and that they’d had too many people stopping to watch him, so he had to be turned off.

That is definitely a problem with the socially-distanced lines: Things that were designed to entertain people standing in line (pre-covid) has to be rushed past now.
