Disney+ has brought in more viewers and a higher cash flow than previously expected. However, after the recent stocks increased rapidly after Disney’s Investor Day, the streaming service’s project revenue has also been bumped up.

Nasdaq has reported that Disney+ is currently projected to reach $4 billion in revenue by 2022. Although the streaming service is thought to hit $1.94 billion by the end of this year, the $1 price increase is most likely going to cause the cash flow to jump up over the next year according to eMarketer’s industry watchers.

Disney’s deal with Verizon Communications only amounted to 20% of the first quarter’s total subscriptions. However, many viewers have been flocking to the streaming service regardless for the Marvel, Pixar, Disney, and other content. And, all the entertainment that is planned over the next few years might even make the price increase worth it for multiple subscribers.

Elizabeth Olsen is Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany is Vision in Marvel Studios’ WANDAVISION, exclusively on Disney+.

The combination of Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ is expected to generate $12.36 billion in revenue by the end of 2022, compared to $12.95 billion for Netflix. However, some analysts believe that Disney+’s subscriber base may increase all the way to 194 million by 2025.
