NEWS: Disney Springs’ Planet Hollywood, Earl of Sandwich, and Chicken Guy! Release Health and Safety Protocols

Tomorrow, Disney Springs will begin a phased reopening to the public, with a variety of third-party retail stores and restaurants opening to guests.

As part of their reopening plans, many restaurants have been releasing health and safety protocols they will be implementing when they open. Today, a few new restaurants released some of the measures that they will be taking starting for the reopening tomorrow.

Planet Hollywood, Earl of Sandwich, and Chicken Guy! have all released health and safety measures they will be implementing for both employees and guests. For employees, these include employee health checks, masks and gloves, re-certification for employees on the new standards, pre-shift gatherings for safety review, and ensuring vendors have transitioned to new “safe and secure” environments.

Additionally, employees are now asked to follow a “20-20 Rules“, which ensures that employees wash their hands for at least twenty seconds every twenty minutes.

For guests, these restaurants have ensured that their establishments are “regularly detailed and sanitized”, with one-time use menus, and sanitizer dispensers throughout the restaurants. Additionally, they have all updated their dining rooms to enact physical distancing, with tables sanitized and disinfected between each party.
