Photo Tour: Epcot’s New International Gateway Lobby is Now Open

The International Gateway is the (formerly?) semi-secret backdoor into Epcot. This second gate of the Park was typically pretty quiet, with guests of the Crescent Lake-adjacent Resort’s being the main users.

But Skyliner has changed all that, and the International Gateway Guest Relations area has seen some alterations in response to the Gateway’s new busy-ness. The Guest Relations windows are framed in maple-colored wood and stately molding.

And there is also a new space:  a guest relations lobby. The new lobby just opened, and it’s got some pretty details!

Dark paneling and moldings create a sense of old European charm. And the wallpaper is a powerful pattern in taupe, cream, and a color we think looks a bit like red wine. 😉 The ceiling has some really interesting curved moldings, too.

In the space are really just a couple of counters where guests can… relate to the Guest Relations cast members and get help with whatever they need.

This new space offers a little style and comfort for guests needing assistance, and the entire revamped Guest Relations area is indicative of just how much has changed in International Gateway.
