“We Will Not Pay Extra!” — Fans React to NEW Cruise Price Increases

Cruises can get expensive, and when the ships start adding more fees, it can be frustrating.

We’ve seen new fees begin for different parts related to cruising. In Mexico, they will start charging every docked passenger a fee. Hawaii is considering new taxes on cruise ship passengers, including a per-passenger fee or an 11% tax. For some cruisers on Carnival Cruise Line, there is one thing they are just not willing to pay for this latest fee.

On Carnival Cruise Line, there has recently been an uproar over juices. Carnival is charging now when you order certain juices inside the dining room. Popular juices — grapefruit, pineapple, and tomato — now come with a fee in the main dining rooms, just as the cruise line charges for those juices in its bars.

Orange and apple juices are still free in the dining rooms. Carnival Cruise Line Brand Ambassador John Heald shared a video on his popular Facebook page to address this confusion, Heald also explained that the cruiser-favorite passion orange guava juice drink is still available for free during breakfast at the Lido buffet.

One commenter wrote, “We Will Not Pay Extra!” in the comments before Heald had them disabled on the video.
