McDonald’s and Disney somehow go together. We often see collaborations between the two companies with Happy Meal toys and movie promotions.
We also remember when you could get McDonald’s fries inside the parks in Disney World, and there’s a reminder of McDonald’s former sponsorship of the Dinosaur ride in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. However, one Disney resort, Disneyland Paris, is getting an actual McDonald’s restaurant in its shopping and dining district.
Disneyland Paris just made a slew of announcements about upcoming lands, rides, and restaurants coming to the parks. We learned a lot more about Disney Adventure World, as well as got our first sneak peek at the new Lion King ride that will be in the Lion King-themed land in that park. We also learned about some new shopping and dining options coming to Disney Village, and one of those dining options will be a “state-of-the-art” McDonald’s.
As you can see from the concept art, this McDonald’s won’t look like any McDonald’s we’ve seen before. It’s got a very modern look, plus it’s MASSIVE. We also like the giant “M” in front that seems to be a topiary. There’s also a lot of greenery on and around the building. Disneyland Paris also promised that this McDonald’s will have “unique architecture” and it certainly seems so per this concept art.
Disney Village is also getting some other new restaurants, including La Petite Rosalie, which will be a terrace extension of Brasserie Rosalie on Lake Disney. Casa Giulia will alsdo be coming soon. The Sports Bar & Lounge is getting an update and will reopen this fall.
A new restaurant is also coming to Disney Adventure World. The Regal View Restaurant and Lounge will offer a Disney Princess character dining experience with views of Adventure Bay.
Disney Village will see some new shops open, too, including a redesigned LEGO Store, Deco by Disney, and Disney Wonders.

There already IS a McDonald’s in DLP – it’s just so very, very old. This new one will be a welcome update especially if it is larger as the current one is often full and people can’t find anywhere to sit which isn’t great when the weather outside isn’t good.
I won’t be excited about any McDonald’s ever!
