If You Ever Wanted a Theme Park in Your Backyard, Here’s Your Chance

Wouldn’t it be great to have your own little version of Disney World in your backyard?

Sure, that’s probably the dream, and maybe even on the list of a lot of our “if I win the lottery” lists. Well, if you have some disposable income to blow, one theme park is actually auctioning off dozens of its rides to make way for a reimagining.

Edaville Family Theme Park in Carver, Massachusetts, will be auctioning off a TON of its rides after deciding to reimagine its space. That means if you’ve got the cash, you could own your very own theme park ride…or theme park if you can afford a few rides. Talk about how popular you would be in the neighborhood, right? You could have your own A Bug’s Life experience by bidding on the Visa Spinning Lady Bug Coaster.

The 1986 Chance Carousel is even up for auction. A carousel in your backyard? Every kid’s dream!

A Dinosaur-inspired ride called Bone Shaker is also up for grabs. This could totally make up for the loss of DinoLand, U.S.A. in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, right?

The auction is happening on April 30th at 10:30 AM at Edaville Theme Park in Carver, Massachusetts. Of course, you will need to figure out how to get your new ride to your home, but it’s worth it, right?

We only wish Disney would do this with its closed rides. Imagine having TriceraTop Spin in your backyard!
