Is Star Wars Nite at Disneyland Park Worth $169?

Star Wars Nite has returned to Disneyland Resort! This special event takes place at Disneyland Park and invites Star Wars fans for an evening of celebration.

During the event, you get special after-hours access to the park, along with exclusive entertainment, rare characters, themed food and drinks, and more. We recently attended the first Star Wars Nite of the season and are taking you along with us!

Star Wars Nite takes place from 9 PM until 1 AM on April 8th, 10th, 18th, 22nd, 24th, 29th, and May 1st, 4th, and 6th, 2025. Tickets start at $169 per person. With your ticket, you can get access to Disneyland Park as early as 6 PM, so you can fit more in before the party even starts.

There’s a lot to do during this event, and we don’t want you to miss out on anything, so we are giving you a look at everything you can do during Star Wars Nite.

Entertainment

Star Wars Nite is a Star Wars celebration, so there is plenty of themed entertainment to see throughout the night. There’s a lightsaber meetup with Rey near the Millennium Falcon called A Gathering of the Resistance with Rey. Bring your lightsaber to join or just enjoy seeing hundreds of lightsabers in the air.

You can learn some new lightsaber skills at the Lightsaber Instructional. This activity is for all ages to enjoy. Who doesn’t need to brush up on their lightsaber skills a bit?

You can stop by the Rivers of America to listen to some classic cantina tunes played by Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes.

You can also head to Main Street, U.S.A. for a fun entertainment offering called Choose Your Path, where you declare your allegiance to the light side or dark side in an interactive duel. You can also check out the special dance party, the Galactic DJ Party Zone on Main Street, U.S.A.

You also won’t want to miss the special themed cavalcade, Fans of the Force Costume Calvacade, with Mickey and Minnie that will parade down Main Street, U.S.A. The best part? If you’ve dressed up for the night, you can meet in Town Square 10 minutes before the parade to participate.

At the end of the night, you can join Mickey and Minnie Mouse at the Main Street, U.S.A. train station for a Fond Farewell. They will bid you farewell as the festivities come to an end. Mickey was sporting an R2-D2 outfit, and Minnie had on a BB-8 outfit!

You can also ride the park’s Star Wars themed attractions, including Star Tours, Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Additionally, many of the other attractions are also available during the event with much lower wait times.

You will also find themed photos throughout the park, and PhotoPass downloads are included with your event picture, so make sure you take advantage!

Food

There are also tons of special eats available for purchase at this event! The themed food and drinks are available throughout the park, and the event map provides more details on all the specials.

We tried the “Porg” Belly Sandwich from Hungry Bear Jamboree, which costs $15.99 and is served with arugula salad, heirloom tomato, and honey sambal sauce. We thought it was excellent. There were lots of flavors, but they all worked well together.

We also got the Wookiee Whoopie Pie from Galactic Grill, and we also enjoyed this treat. It had the consistency of an ice cream sandwich, and the pearls added a great crunch.

However, we only tried a fraction of the snacks and drinks available, so if you are a foodie, make sure you check out the map for a full list of treats.

Characters

What’s Star Wars night without characters? Throughout the night, you’ll be able to meet tons of your favorite Star Wars characters in different areas of the park. You can meet up with some Jawas.

You can stop by to say hello to Padme Amidala.

As you are venturing, you might run into Luke Skywalker. 

You can also get up close to some of your favorite droids, including BB-8.

…R2-D2…

…and R5-D4.

Keep your eyes peeled, as you might also spot Anakin Skywalker. 

You might even come across Darth Maul during your night.

Or you might run into an Ewok.

There are also other characters you can spot, including Ahsoka Tano, Fennec Shand, Kylo Ren, The Mandalorian with Grogu, Boba Fett, Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine & Royal Guards, Captain Phasma & Stormtroopers, Sabine Wren, Hera Sundulla, and Chopper.

Merchandise

There is also some exclusive merchandise available for purchase during the event!

Overall, this is a really fun event for Star Wars fans! Whether it is worth it for your family will depend on what you are looking for. You can see lots of rare Star Wars characters, and the themed entertainment really brings fans together. Lots of attendees get into the spirit and dress up, which really adds to the event. Plus, you can get lots of fun photos and experience attractions with shorter wait times.
