SNEAK PEEK at 3 New Restaurants Coming to Disneyland!

If you visit Disneyland Resort often, you probably know that Downtown Disney is going through a pretty big transformation.

Downtown Disney

This multi-year project has added new shops, dining locations, and public spaces in the district, and it’s making Downtown Disney a bigger part of a Disneyland Resort vacation (truly stepping up its game!). There’s still more to come in the future, and now, Disney has shared a sneak peek at some of the upcoming dining offerings.

First of all, Bopo Go! is a brand-new cafe concept being planned expressly for Downtown Disney. It’s created by Eric Wang and Philip Wang, co-owners of Bopomofo Café, which already has several locations around Southern California. The new Bopo Go! will serve Bopomofo Café’s same authentic boba/bubble tea.

Their tea is sourced from Taiwan, and their matcha is ceremonial grade from Japan. They only use real fruits, vegetables, lactose-free milk, oat milk, cane or brown sugar, and no artificial ingredients. Bopo Go! will be inspired by Asian convenience stores — in addition to the boba, they’ll have “other signature beverages, light bites, imported snacks, and candies.”

We’ve already heard about Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon and Pearl’s Roadside BBQ coming to Downtown Disney, but now there’s another sneak peek! According to Disney, Arthur & Sons will serve “premium cuts of beef, fresh seafood, sandwiches and salads, along with an impressive selection of bourbon, and cocktails.” The interior of the restaurant will be decorated with crisp lines and wood tones, booth and table seating, and a bar.

Pearl’s Roadside BBQ will be located nearby and will be a quick service spot with pulled pork, beef brisket, and smoked heritage turkey as well as house-made sauces, craft beers, and moonshine cocktails. The inside of this restaurant has a hand-painted mural, while the exterior is home to a spacious patio and Shine Bar with views of Downtown Disney.

We can’t wait to check out these dining locations in person — Downtown Disney is really starting to compete with its East Coast counterpart, Disney Springs.
