Okay, Somehow Everyone Disappeared From Disney World in 24 Hours

After a wildly busy runDisney race weekend in the Disney World parks, we were very curious to see how crowds would fluctuate as the race ended.

Well, let’s just say it wasn’t what we were expecting. We went from seeing higher-than-average wait times in February a day ago to now…well, now everyone seems to have totally disappeared from every park except EPCOT.

Magic Kingdom

Wait times took an ENTIRELY different turn than what we’ve seen previously this week. The highest wait time was TRON Lightcycle / Run at 65 minutes — yes, that was the HIGHEST! It seems everyone left Magic Kingdom after the runDisney race weekend, and we’re not complaining!

Epcot

EPCOT was a little busier, as the wait times for the two most popular attractions did stay above an hour for the majority of the day. Ultimately, the winner of the day was Frozen Ever After with a 75 minute wait.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

We cannot BELIEVE how few people were in Animal Kingdom yesterday. Flight of Passage had the highest wait of only 65 minutes, but by the end of the day, it was down to 10 MINUTES! It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen that, so it’s easy to imagine that the park was pretty much dead.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

We’ll be honest, we don’t know WHAT the heck was happening in Hollywood Studios yesterday, because every ride that’s normally the highest wait was completely thrown out the window. Instead, Toy Story Mania had the highest wait of 95 minutes! Wait times were overall much lower than usual throughout the day, so we’re very curious about this shift in trend.
