Magic Kingdom Struggled With 6 Sporadic Ride Closures Yesterday

When you go to Disney World, you expect to wait in line.

That is, unless you’ve paid for one of Disney’s skip-the-line services, but even then, there’s a short line you’ll need to wait in before hopping on the attraction. We keep an eye on wait times throughout the year so we can see when Disney World crowds are the heaviest and pass that information on to you so you can plan your trips accordingly. February is a confusing time of year when it comes to crowds because while there aren’t any school holidays, major cheerleading competitions bring hundreds of groups into the parks. Right now, crowds aren’t looking that bad, BUT one park was seriously struggling with ride closures yesterday in Disney World.

Here’s a full look at the Disney World wait times on February 20th, 2025.

Magic Kingdom

TRON Lightcycle / Run hit a 105-minute wait at TWO separate points throughout the day, but what really caught our eye was how many rides had trouble throughout the day! Haunted Mansion, Prince Charming’s Regal Carrousel, Carousel of Progress, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Under The Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid, and Magic Carpets of Aladdin all went down throughout the day, which was way more than we were expecting.

Epcot

Wow, these rides were heavily competing for the highest wait time yesterday, but Frozen Ever After came out on top with a 105-minute wait! However, Soarin’ jumped up to 75 minutes at one point, which is just wild to us. We don’t recommend waiting in that line — instead, wait until it inevitably drops later in the day.

Flight of Passage hit a 125-minute wait, which is pretty long, but it’s much better than we’ve seen it in the past! However, if you’d like to avoid a long wait for this attraction, we suggest checking on it later in the day, as many park goers have decided to park hop to a different park for their evening. However, keep in mind that the attraction could go down later in the day and may not come back up before opening, so that is a risk you run!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Slinky Dog Dash remained at a 90-minute wait nearly all day, but this park also struggled with ride closures! Slinky was closed in the first hour of the day but stayed open for the remainder of park hours, but Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster also had trouble later in the day.
