It’s Been 8 Years Since We’ve Seen THIS in EPCOT!

They’re heeeeere!

Disney World might feel like it’s constantly changing between its endless menu updates, crowds coming and going, and the latest construction happening around its parks and hotels. But, there’s one recent change we spotted that makes us particularly excited to see because their arrival means that spring isn’t too far away!

While we’re still in the final stretch of the first EPCOT festival of the year, that doesn’t mean that Disney World isn’t already looking ahead for what’s to come. EPCOT’s known to be constantly evolving, especially when it comes to their seasonal festivals happening throughout the year.

Next up for EPCOT is the ever-anticipated Flower & Garden Festival which fills EPCOT and its World Showcase with gorgeous, blooming flowers, bustling food booths, and fun decorations! In fact, it’s the only EPCOT festival where you’ll find the character topiaries throughout the entire park — and they’ve already started popping up around EPCOT.

Who’s all out so far? We’re glad you asked! On our most recent visit, we’ve already spotted Groot with a Green House Mix Vol 1 cassette tape in World Discovery.

You’ll find Phineas and Ferb in World Celebration Gardens! We’ve not seen them in topiary form since 2017.

We even spotted Goofy blowing the dandelions on the ground before making our way into the World Showcase.

As you make your way towards Canada, you’ll find the ever-popular Flower, Thumper, and Bambi.

The U.K. Pavilion is where you’ll find Mickey…

…and an elephant in the gardens…

…as well as Tinker Bell in the fairy garden next to Yorkshire County Fish Shop.

If you’re looking for some playful pandas, they’re already back to their usual spot in China.

If you make a stop by Norway, make sure you visit the friendly troll…

…and our favorite power sisters, Anna & Elsa…

…as well as a few snowflakes we’re sure Elsa built especially for the festival!

And if you’ve made the full trek around, or just happen to start your World Showcase journey by way of Mexico, you’ll run into Miguel and Dante from Coco!

We were thrilled to see a few of the familiar character topiaries already on display and we’ll be keeping a watchful eye out for more before the Flower & Garden Festival opening on March 5th.
