Costco has been a very popular shopping location for many families thanks to its bulk shopping concept.

At Costco, you buy a larger quantity of items at a reduced price, and those deals are what keep a lot of people, especially larger families, going back over and over. It helps, too, that Costco’s prices seemingly haven’t jumped as much as other stores in recent years, especially when looking at Costco’s famous food court. In fact, Costco’s iconic hot dog combo has been kept at $1.50 for years, but now, a shakeup is coming to the combo that hasn’t been seen in 12 years — the drink is changing!
Don’t worry; the price of the deal isn’t changing! It’s still staying at the (fortunately) very affordable $1.50 that it’s been since 1985, but instead of Pepsi, Costco will serve Coca-Cola with the combo.

About a month ago, rumors were swirling online about the potential incoming switch, and it’s been confirmed. According to Costco CEO Ron Vachris, the change will arrive this summer, per NBC News. Back in 2013, Costco switched from Coca-Cola to Pepsi to ensure they could keep the cost of the combo at $1.50 and avoid raising prices.

No official date has been announced as to when we’ll see this change take place, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated as we listen for more information.
