What Do Wait Times Look Like When Magic Kingdom Closes EARLY?

The sun is coming out, the weather is warming up, the birds are chirping — which can only mean one thing…

…it’s time to plan a Disney World trip! The EPCOT Festival of the Arts just kicked off and we’ve been keeping an eye on all the construction progress at Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. If you’re heading to the parks soon, here’s what you need to know about the latest attraction wait times!

Of course, chances are you won’t be the only ones heading to the parks to take advantage of the nicer weather, so what can you do?! We’re glad you asked — because we’ve got PLENTY of tips! Tip one is to plan your Magic Kingdom day for when the park is closing early, because wait times were SO LOW yesterday.

Our top tips for avoiding long lines without spending any extra money are to rope drop the parks (get there right when — or before — they open), get in line during meal times or parades and fireworks, or wait until people start leaving for the night!

You can also take advantage of things like Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours depending on what Disney hotel you’re staying at. These offerings allow hotel guests to get a little extra time in the parks before everyone else gets there.

And, you can always take advantage of Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass (and the new Premier Pass!) These are skip-the-line services that allow you to bypass the standby lines at popular Disney World rides.
