According to our readers, not all Disney Souvenirs are created equal.

From Mickey Ears and Disney pins to coffee mugs and Lightsabers, there are literally thousands of possible souvenir options to bring home from a Walt Disney World vacation. However, in the minds of our readers, that may be a few too many. We recently polled YOU to find out which Disney World souvenirs you’d get rid of, and some of the answers caught os off guard.
To start, there was one Disney souvenir that garnered more calls for its removal than all the others combined: Bubble Wands.

Readers had a litany of issues with the product. Reader Ken said, “I know kids love them but I don’t feel like standing in a blizzard of bubbles standing in line”, and reader Valarie added “I constantly have to clean my glasses after a barrage of bubbles; unfortunately, I NEED my glasses to see.”
The bubble wands did have a few defenders, like reader Terri who wrote, “Wow! All the grinches not loving the bubble wands! That one moment you are near one is a trade for the hours of fun and excitement for a child? I think you can live through it!!”

Another popular item to remove according to our readers? Balloons. As reader Chant put it, “Balloons. They fly away which upsets children, block people’s views which upsets the people behind them, don’t travel well which upsets whoever’s responsible for luggage, and are bad for the environment which is bad for people who care about the environment.”

Several readers also brought up spirit jerseys, with reader Andrea expressing thoughts similar to many: “Spirit Jerseys… who wants to be wearing a warm sweatshirt in Florida?”

Popcorn buckets weren’t spared either, as reader Randall expressed, “Popcorn buckets but I wish they would go away from everywhere because they’re ridiculous waste of plastic.”

However, several readers went against the grain of wanting to elate any particular souvenirs. As Ilze put it, “Eh just because something isn’t for me, doesn’t mean it’s not for someone. It’s Disney, find your joy!”

We asked our readers which Disney souvenirs they’d get rid of, and they they responded in large numbers. Stay tuned to AllEars for more coverage of what Disney fans want out of the company and its parks.

Who says I’m wearing my Spirit Jersey IN Florida??? I live in a place that’s cold 5 months of the year. I love my spirit jerseys. AND they’ve come in handy on the freezing A/C of Disney as well as the times when there is a cold snap in the winter months
