Someone Cursed Disney World with MAJOR Ride Closures, and We Just Wanna Have a Little Chat…

*sigh* We had such high hopes for Disney World rides to do better for the rest of the month, but it appears our hopes were too high.

We just recently saw that it looked like rides were doing better, but now it appears that multiple rides are struggling again. In fact, only ONE park wasn’t affected yesterday, and it was the park we least expected.

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom struggled AGAIN with multiple ride closures, including Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, which was likely the main reason it shot up to a 90-minute wait towards the end of the day. Additionally, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, “it’s a small world,” the PeopleMover, Mickey’s PhilharMagic, and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel also had closure issues.

Epcot

Frozen Ever After and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure both tied at 90-minute waits, but what was more intriguing to us was that Journey into Imagination with Figment was closed for the vast majority of the day. This ride is relatively simple when it comes to the technology it uses, and it’s not one we see go down often.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

While Flight of Passage still jumped to 115 minutes, that’s better than we’ve seen in recent days, Animal Kingdom did struggle more with ride closures than we’ve seen for a bit. Flight of Passage, Dinosaur, and Expedition Everest were all down at different points of the day, with Everest struggling the worst.

Rise of the Resistance hit a 95-minute wait pretty early on in the day, and while it did have issues later in the day, it was the only ride closure all day! That’s impressive for any park, but especially one with as technologically advanced rides as Hollywood Studios.
