While you are at Disney World, it also feels like you’re at a beautiful resort surrounded by nature out west. The resort has some great dining options and is just a boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom. You can also watch the fireworks here down by Geyser Point, where they will pipe in the music to Happily Ever After. 

Moderate Resorts

Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter is the highest-rated moderate resort. With 195 reviews, it has an 8.99/10 rating. One reader wrote in their review, “The French Quarter is as good as it gets with moderate-level pricing. The rooms are great with minor Princess and the Frog theming, the resort is along the water and there is a great walking trail, the pool is very fun and lively during the summer with a thrilling slide for young children, and of course, it is home to the famous Mickey Mouse Beignets.”
