CONFIRMED: Disney Announces Permanent ‘Encanto’ Addition in EPCOT

¡Viva la Fiesta! Disney has announced that an EPCOT entertainment offering will now be a permanent fixture in the park. We have all the details for you!

¡Celebración Encanto! is officially here to stay! This stage show at CommuniCore Plaza in EPCOT will stick around for good. When Disney first announced the new Encanto show back in March 2024, it was announced as a limited-time sing-along show that would run from June 10th to September 6th.

However, the show ended up being extended for Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month and is still going strong at EPCOT. Well, we now have official confirmation from Disney that ¡Celebración Encanto! is now a full-time entertainment offering at EPCOT.

The show happens multiple times per day at the CommuniCore Plaza stage. You can check the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date showtimes. The show features dancers, songs from the movie, and special appearances from Mirabel and Bruno. It is a high-energy show that encourages audience participation and is perfect for kiddos who are fans of Encanto (or have some extra energy to burn).

The show lasts about 20 minutes, and there is a dance party at the end that is about 10 minutes long. It is a fun show for kids and adults alike, and it will be a permanent fixture in EPCOT for the time being.

While the EPCOT transformation was completed with the opening of CommuniCore Hall and Plaza, we are still looking forward to the opening of the new Spaceship Earth Lounge. This lounge is expected to open in the late spring of 2025.

An updated version of Test Track is also expected to open in late summer 2025. The ride is being transformed with a new storyline, new vehicles, and a new overall look.
