Is it silly that we still get excited over Happy Meal Toys?
McDonald’s has become somewhat of an obsession for us — from their latest Pokémon GO collaboration to the news that the iconic Snack Wrap is finally coming back! Now our obsession continues with the newest toy release.
Sonic is rolling into McDonald’s — literally! To celebrate the release of Sonic 3 The Hedgehog, you can find eight brand-new toys inside your Happy Meals.
Fans can find Sonic, Knuckles, Shadow, Tails, and more inside their lunch. These rolling toys are available now. You’ll be able to put your character inside their roller, decorate with stickers, and off you go!
You and your new Happy Meal toy will be ready to save the world in no time. You can collect all 8 characters while supplies last.
Do we plan on using these toys to have an excuse to go grab our favorite Happy Meal? Maybe. Between these and the Snack Wrap news, we’ll be finding ourselves in the McDonald’s app more frequently than we’d care to admit (IYKYK).
