“I’m Moving In!” Disney World Experts Share How They’d Spend Their Money at the Parks If They Won the Lottery

It’s certainly no secret that the cost of a Disney World vacation can add up quickly.

We’re always on the hunt for the latest discounts and deals that will help you save, but what if you didn’t have to? What would your ultimate Disney World trip look like if you won the lottery and could do whatever money could buy you in the parks?

We asked our readers over on Facebook how they would spend their winnings if they had just won the lottery and were heading to Disney World. Here’s what they said!

Deluxe Resorts

It probably comes as no surprise that our readers would splurge and stay at Deluxe Resorts at Disney World if they won the lottery — but not just in any old room. Instead, most readers specified that they’d want to stay at the Polynesian Resort or Club Level at another Disney World hotel.

Disney’s Club Level gives you secured key access to the club-level lounge (serving refreshments 7AM to 10PM daily), complimentary health club access, access to concierge service, and spectacular views. It’s the ultimate way to live in luxury at the Disney World Deluxe hotels!

Fancy Meals

Cinderella’s Royal Table? Treat yourself. Le Cellier? Treat yourself. Monsieur Paul? Treat yourself. Victoria & Albert’s? TREAT. YO. SELF. Essentially, what we’re saying is that a ton of our readers replied saying that they’d finally make time to dine at some of the more upscale, signature-dining restaurants Disney World has to offer.

Many of these restaurants cost a pretty penny and often come with hard-to-get reservations. But, if you’ve got the dough to blow and enjoy the finer things in life, this makes perfect sense to us.

VIP Tours

You know those Cast Members you see wearing some sort of blue and red plaid walking around the parks? Those are VIP Tours and they don’t come cheap! Celebrities and other folks who want to splurge for a little luxury and convenience in the parks will often book VIP Tours to make their trips a bit less chaotic. And, apparently, our readers are all about VIP Tours!

This service treats guests exactly as the title says, as VIPs. VIP Tours have been described as a way for guests to enjoy a new “level of Disney Magic” by allowing guests to customize their vacation to the point they are spending their time “playing and not planning.”

Moving In

Did you know you can actually LIVE on Disney World property? Well, you can if you’ve got the budget for it! Golden Oak is a neighborhood located just north of Disney’s Port Orleans Resort and it’s home to some seriously incredible houses that cost a pretty penny.

Several of our readers said that if they won the lottery, they’d sell their homes and buy a house in Golden Oak instead! Residents of this luxury neighborhood receive concierge services, access to the Golden Oak Club, and complimentary transportation around Disney World property. It’s the closest you can get to actually living inside Cinderella Castle!

We saved the best for last — one reader said they’d spend their winnings by taking their friends and family with them. Not only that, but they’d do their best to spend money on a trip for a family or two that wouldn’t normally be able to afford it. Talk about doing something magical!
