We Attended the Swan & Dolphin Food & Wine Classic in Disney World and Were NOT Disappointed!

While we get excited about EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival every year, it’s certainly not the only food and wine festival we look forward to!

The Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic was BACK this year for November 15th and 16th ONLY, and we checked it all out so you know what to expect next year and what the top dishes are to grab. So, without further ado, let’s get into it!

This event is held on the Causeway and adjacent spaces at the Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels. 2024 tickets cost $195 per person for single night tickets, which meant beginning at 5:30PM ET, you could head into the event and try an unlimited amount of the food and drinks offered! We expect the event to be the same next year, as well.

Check in goodies (2023)

You can find multiple drink and food stalls along the main Causeway, but you’ll also want to check out the following adjacent areas!

  • Beer Garden
  • Chinatown
  • Pastry
  • For the Love of Florida
  • Carnival Corner

You’ll want to be sure you pick up a map to help guide you around the event and hit your favorites, but here are the standouts we really enjoyed at each location!

Causeway

Of course the option from Shula’s was great!

Roasted Linz Heritage Black Angus Beef Tenderloin

The only thing missing was something crispy for a textural contrast, but overall it was delicious! There are several different flavors that shine and work really well together.

Next, we tried the Asparagus Salad from BlueZoo, and it was SO good!

Asparagus Salad

It was a great balance of textures with a really great freshness. The flavors were incredible together. Even if you don’t like raw fish, the flavors were so great, you probably wouldn’t even realize what you were eating.

Beer Garden

We really enjoyed the Miso Butter Tossed Brussels Sprouts!

These were a bit spicy, but not terribly. They will definitely make you want to drink a beer, so they’re appropriately offered at the beer garden. There’s not a lot of miso flavor, but they will likely get you loving brussels sprouts if you don’t already.

Chinatown

We were really surprised by the Vegan Pan Seared Dumpling!

There were some yummy mushrooms and it had a nice crispy pan sear on the outside. The sauce it comes with was pretty salty and very soy sauce forward, but overall, this was a very tasty option!

Pastry

We were recommended the Blackberry Chocolate Choux by other guests, and they were not wrong to suggest it!

Blackberry Chocolate Choux

It’s a chocolate pastry with a chocolate disc and a blackberry filling. The sharpness of the filling went really well with the sweetness of the chocolate! It is a bit messy, but it was really good.

For The Love of Florida

The Seminole Pumpkin Fry Bread was very enjoyable!

Seminole Pumpkin Fry Bread

It was dense and not overly sweet. The sauce it came with was a cinnamon pumpkin sauce, which was very good! The sauce had great spices and bread had more of the pumpkin flavor, so together they worked really well.

Carnival Corner

Yes, we got Baked Corn Dog Bites, and we weren’t disappointed.

Baked Corn Dog Bites

It wasn’t what we were expecting, but they were still tasty! They aren’t a typical mini-corn dog; they’re more like a corn dog muffin. It’s a fancier corn dog bite than what you’ll find at Casey’s in Magic Kingdom, and we really enjoyed them.

It’s a fun night of food and drinks!

We look forward to this event every year, and while it’s over this year, we already can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year. Be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney World news!
