We’ve got big EPCOT festival news to share!

Disney World just released the FULL menus for the upcoming EPCOT Festival of the Holidays and we’ve noticed a few changes! In addition to getting to see all of the holiday storytellers in the countries and taking in the nightly celebrity-narrated Candlelight Processional, there’s a BUNCH of new menu items coming to the festival this year!
Now that we’ve had a chance to “digest” the initial news of all the exciting menu offerings coming to EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays soon, it’s time to take a closer look.

Out of all the Holiday Kitchens, there are 14 booths welcoming new menu items to the festival this year and we think they deserve a highlight. Let’s take a look at everything new coming to the festival so you can plan your visit accordingly!
The first Holiday Kitchen to mention is new all around! Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow will be located within the CommuniCore Hall and will feature a Spaceship Earth Tile Gingerbread Triangle.

Connections Eatery in World Discovery will be your stop to pick up the Holiday Sweater Liege Waffle (made of chocolate-coated brioche waffle with a flurry of blizzard-themed sprinkles and white chocolate garnish).

Over in Mexico at the Las Posadas Holiday Kitchen, you’ll find two new eats this year along with 2 new beverages. Joining the lineup this year are the Empanada de Pollo (a fried corn tortilla filled with chipotle chicken and potatoes topped with chile rojo salsa, crema Mexicana, and queso fresco) and a Tamal de Puerco con Mole (a tamale made with shredded pork in corn masa topped with mole negro, queso fresco, crema Mexicana, slivered almonds, and sesame seeds).

They’ve also added a Holiday Margarita made of Dos Hombres Mezcal, tequila, cranberry lime juice, allspice and orange blackcurrant liqueurs and a Coconut Guavarita made of Tromba Blanco Tequila, coconut water, guava cream, a hint of lime rum, and orange liqueur with a toasted coconut rim.
The Shanghai Holiday Kitchen in China is where you’ll find your next 4 new menu items.

New this year for food you’ll find the XO Fried Rice which is made of Chinese sausage, onion, green onion, mushroom, egg, and house-made Hong Kong XO Chili Sauce. Also new for beverages at this booth are the Taro Bubble Milk Tea (which is made of green tea and boba), the Lychee Martini (made with Vodka, lychee syrup, and vermouth), and the Peach of Longevity (made of Peach Schnapps, citrus vodka, piña colada mix, and orange juice).
Tuscany Holiday Kitchen in Italy will welcome the Panettone for the first time which will be made of Panettone bread pudding and vanilla cream.

Also, the Bombardino Freddo (made of creamy eggnog and Italian brandy) will be making its first appearance at this year’s festival, too!
We’re getting a new funnel cake option this year at Funnel Cakes in The American Adventure! You’ll find the Gingerbread Funnel Cake served here made of vanilla ice cream, gingerbread crumbs, whipped cream, and red and green sprinkles.

Shi Wasu Holiday Kitchen in Japan will be home to 2 new offerings this year, and a name change for one of the returning dishes.

This is where you’ll find the Mochi Donut Wrap (which is a soft, chewy fusion pastry served with strawberry, whipped cream, strawberry sauce, and sweet red beans wrapped with “gyuhi” rice cake sheet), and the Chocolate Nigori (made of a creamy texture of Nigori Sake with rich sweetness and gentle bitterness from chocolate). Additionally, Toshikoshi Soba is the new name for the dish of Buckwheat soba noodle in hot dashi soup topped with shrimp tempura and chopped green onion.
Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina’s menu will also see a few changes!

Here you’ll find the new Ciderboys Cranberry Razz Hard Cider and Holiday Fig Cocktail (made of Kleiner Feigling fig liqueur and white cranberry juice).
L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen at the booth between Morocco and France is where you’ll find the new Brooklyn Brewery Black Chocolate Stout.

In France, at Le Marché de Noël Holiday Kitchen, you’ve got a whole assortment of new goodies to try (along with a change to a returning menu item)! Both the Rôti de Jambon Sauce Moutarde à l’Ancienne, Pommes Darphin (a dish of roasted ham with mushrooms, pearl onions, bacon, white wine mustard sauce, and dauphin roasted herb potatoes) and the Bûche de Noël au Chocolat et Caramel (a treat of chocolate fudge Christmas log with a caramel cream center) will be new to try out this year.

Joining them is also two new beverages with the Spiced Cranberry Punch (made of Pol Rémy Sparkling Wine, cranberry juice, orange juice, and spiced brown sugar) and the Chateau Haut Beaumard Cabernet Sauvignon. We also spotted a change to a returning menu item. Disney World has changed the bread in the Crème De Saumon Fumé en Brioche aux Grains de Sesames, Concombre Et Radis to a sesame brioche roll this year.
We spotted a few new offerings at the Swirled Showcase near Port of Entry this year, too!

In their lineup, Disney’s listed a Dark Chocolate soft-serve flavor that sounds very interesting to try! Along with this change, there are a few new boozy floats to try with the new Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co. Bourbonola with dark chocolate soft-serve, Fireball Cinnamon Whisky and Barq’s Red Crème Soda with apple cinnamon soft-serve, and Coffee Float (made of dark chocolate soft-serve with iced coffee and choice of Mozart Liqueur).
Over at Holiday Sweets & Treats near Port of Entry you’ll find one additional new menu item — the Deschutes Brewery Jubelale!

At Mele Kalikimaka Holiday Kitchen located between the World Showcase and the Imagination! Pavilion you’ll find a new Coffee Mocha Cookie topped with coffee-infused buttercream, cocoa nibs, and chocolate-covered espresso beans and The Bruery 5 Golden Rings beverage!

Rounding over to Nochebuena Cocina in the same area, you’ll find the new Left Hand Brewing Co. Mexican Hot Chocolate Milk Stout and the Pastelón (a dish made of Sofrito-marinated beef with sweet plantains and olives).

And to round out our list of new offerings, don’t forget to stop by Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company! Here you can expect to find the new Merry Mint Cookie Latte (made of a festive blend of espresso, toasted marshmallow syrup, peppermint syrup, dark chocolate sauce, and milk topped with peppermint whipped cream and chocolate cookie crumbs (Non-alcoholic beverage).

And there you have them! That’s all the new changes we’ve spotted to this year’s holiday kitchen offerings. If your mouth wasn’t already watering over the previous year’s options, you’ve now got even more to look forward to trying in a few short weeks!
