Disney Confirms 5 Lounges Are Coming to Its NEWEST Treasure Cruise Ship

The Disney Treasure is sailing at the end of 2024, and we couldn’t be more excited!

There’s so much to explore on this new ship — tons of new entertainment, dining options, and so much more. But some of the offerings we’re most looking forward to are the lounges you can explore on board, because they’re not just any lounge — they’re all themed to some of your favorite Disney stories!

The Haunted Mansion Parlor

One of the ones we’re most excited for is the The Haunted Mansion Parlor. The bar features some of the most iconic pieces of The Haunted Mansion ride, such as the Hitchhiking Ghosts, the candelabras, busks, and chandeliers, but the story behind it is all new.

The story behind the lounge is that a captain who had a “disastrous dinner with his beloved fiance” is your Ghost Host in this parlor that looks like a classic Golden Age cruise drawing room. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be served, to please everyone’s tastes.

Skipper Society

If you’re a big fan of Jungle Cruise, you’ll love the Skipper Society lounge! The concept art shows us that it’ll have tons of greenery to really bring that jungle feel to life, and just like every Jungle Cruise boat has its own name, this bar has its own boat too called the Ems Express!

The name comes from the fact that the ship’s maiden voyage will be starting in the Em River. Another hidden detail you’ll want to find are the pieces of luggage with all the different stickers on them from the parts of the world Jungle Cruise has traveled to, and listen to the spiels in multiple different languages, representing how many parks this attraction is in.

Periscope Pub

We’re throwing it way back with this one — Periscope Pub is themed after the 1954 film 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea AND former Disney World attraction of the same name. The bar has a 9th-century steampunk vibe along with polished metals and industrial touches, and Disney described it as “A mysterious window into the depths of the uncharted oceans along the ceiling will give you a chance to feel like Captain Nemo on the Nautilus, while a decorative statement rug in the center of the space will honor Captain Nemo’s fabled nemesis, the giant squid.

However, this will be a casual bar serving drinks and light bites while the TVs play in the background. It’ll be a place where you can go to watch live sports or news, so if that’s your thing, this is where you’ll want to go!

Scat Cat Lounge

Disney is bringing the spirit of, no, not New Orleans, but The Aristocats to the Disney Treasure with the Scat Cat Lounge! Now the details here are small, so you’ll really have to pay attention — like to the carpet, which is inspired by Madame Adelaide Bonfamille’s Parisian home!

The piano in the lounge will also have paw prints from Toulouse, and a parade of silhouetted cats will lead you into the entryway. Cocktails themed after the movie will also be served, which we can’t wait to try!

The Rose

Last but certainly not least, we have The Rose, which is inspired by the castle from Beauty and the Beast. You’ll be able to look out to the ocean while you enjoy your drink and bask in the enchanting antique mirrors and “floating” rose petals.
