A Disney World Hotel Pool Has FINALLY Reopened After Two Months Closed

We see Disney World offerings closing ALL the time for refurbishment.

From popular rides to restaurants to hotel pools, it’s important to check out the refurbishment schedule before you head to Disney World so you aren’t disappointed when an offering is temporarily closed. But if you’re staying at one popular hotel, you’ll be happy to know that there has been a reopening!

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is home to over 2,000 hotel rooms spread across 6 island-themed villages. It’s a massive property — in fact, it’s so big that it has an internal bus shuttle.

But because of that giant property spread, the resort is home to more pools than most Disney World hotels. That way, if you don’t want to walk or shuttle to the pool near the lobby, you can enjoy a smaller one near your room instead.

Since the end of July, the pool in the Barbados area of the resort has been closed for refurbishment to get some regularly scheduled touch-ups. But now, that pool has reopened to guests of the resort!

As one of the leisure pools, it’s not too much to write home about — no special water features, slides, or splash pads, but it’s a great spot if you just want a chill swim. Anyone staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is welcome to swim here.

The pool is open!

We’ll make sure to keep you in the loop with any more scheduled refurbishments or random closures, so stay tuned to AllEars!
